LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
Opened on January 1, 2010, Villa Punto de Vista is located in Manuel Antonio, Quepos, in the Puntarenas Province next to the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. From SJO, there are three ways to reach the villa. They can arrange a private shuttle to and from the airport (2.5 hours from the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) or a short 20-minute plane or helicopter ride from SJO to Quepos La Managua Airport. Villa Punto de Vista is a 5-star luxury villa that was designed by Architect David Konwiser, AIA. David and and his brother/business partner Christien manage the villa and its staff. WEDDING DAY & PLANNING SERVICES
On your wedding day, you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own suite until it’s time to say “I do” to have your hair styled, make-up applied, and manicure and pedicure done. Or, Villa Punto de Vista can arrange a visit at one of their favorite spas in Manuel Antonio, until their onsite spa opens in November, 2019. You can also have your wedding dress and your fiancé’s attire cleaned and pressed onsite.
Villa Punto de Vista offers three options for lodging: Villa La Isla, Villa Punto de Vista, and The Estate. Every suite has a roomy rain shower and private bath and all the amenities you would expect of a luxury 5-star hotel: organic bath and facial soaps and shampoo, Swiss-made beds covered with ultra-high thread count sheets, his and her robes, and to-die-for towels. If it’s just you and your fiancé, you can choose to have a king-sized bed. For your guests, the villa can arrange each suite to their needs, with either king-sized beds or single beds.
Villa La Isla
Villa La Isla is their newest premier luxury private villa situated on a mountainside embedded in a dense tropical rainforest, affording it stunning views of the ocean and surrounding mountains replete with wildlife that has sufficient space for 45 people. It has 8 luxuriously modern guest suites with an open-concept bedroom that can accommodate up to 20 overnight guests with fantastic views, gorgeous common areas, a double-edge infinity pool, a private balcony, a theater, and full-service staff day and night.
Villa Punto De Vista
The original villa, Villa Punto De Vista is a12,000 square-foot luxury villa is surrounded by exotic rainforest and pristine coastline that has 180-degree ocean and mountain views. It consists of 10 incredible guest rooms with stunning views that can accommodate up to 30 guests, and has luxurious common areas, an infinity pool, and full-service daytime and evening staff.
Combine Villa La Isla and Villa Punto De Vista and you get The Estate, resulting in 2 private villas each with their own social areas, pool, and other amenities, for a total of 18 luxury guest rooms that can accommodate up to 50 guests for your wedding. This is ideal for South Asian and Indian weddings in Costa Rica. There’s a villa for the bride and her family, and for the groom and her family, and spacious and elegant common areas for the traditional wedding events that take place different days.
Each suite is designed remove the barriers between the indoors and nature by using locally sourced materials for the walls and woodwork and having floor-to-ceiling glass walls and windows, as well as private balconies with mesmerizing views of the rainforest and ocean.
WEDDING DAY EVENT SITES
Villa Punto de Vista can accommodate elopements to weddings of up to 120 guests, but the ideal maximum number of guests is 80-100 to make it more comfortable depending on the site you choose. Amazingly, there are 5 unforgettable sites at the villa for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and dinner.
1. ROOFTOP DECK – CEREMONIES, COCKTAIL HOUR, RECEPTION
It’s the fifth floor at the villa that has sweeping-ocean and rainforest views from its vantage point above the rainforest canopy. It can accommodate 100 guests seated guests during an event, for the dinner and cocktail hour. It is covered, so you don’t have to worry about the sun when overhead or the tropical rains during the rainy season. There’s also a full-service bar and there is easy access to the events terrace and kitchen. Given its marvelous views, it’s a plus for wedding ceremony photos and bride and groom and family portraits.
2. EVENTS TERRACE – CEREMONIES COCKTAIL HOUR, RECEPTIONS
One level below the Rooftop Deck is the Events Terrace that can accommodate 70 seated guests for a wedding ceremony, 40 seated guests for the wedding dinner, and 120 for the cocktail hour with cocktail tables. It too has splendid panoramic ocean and rainforest-canopy views, and is a great place to watch the sunset. Constructed of teak wood, natural rock, and other locally-sourced materials, it is adjacent to the kitchen and full-sized bark, making it a great site for a cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, as well as dining and intimate wedding ceremonies.
3. BALLROOM – CEREMONIES COCKTAIL HOUR, RECEPTION
With its high ceilings, a teak floor, two-story windows that permit unobstructed views of the infinity pool and rainforest, a full-service bar, ambient sound system and disco lighting. The Ballroom is simply an amazing site for your wedding-day events and is the most popular venue for wedding receptions. It can accommodate up to 70 seated guests for wedding ceremonies and receptions, and 120 guests for standing events, such at the cocktail hour, and has an adjoining area where you can enjoy a different ambiance and take a break from the festivities. Then there’s the option of having a live band one the mezzanine that overlooks The Ballroom while you and your guests dance the night away.
4. POOL DECK – CEREMONIES, COCKTAIL HOUR, RECEPTIONS
This is the ideal venue for smaller wedding given its casually elegant ambiance and views. It accommodates up to 30 guests for a wedding ceremony, 50 standing guests for the cocktail hour, and 40 seated guests for dinner. There is a magnificent covered seating area made of coral stone with an incorporated ice bucket that can chill 10 bottles of champagne at once. From the pool deck, you can gaze upon the rainforest and the sea, whose waves you can hear crashing below as you say your wedding vows and celebrate your matrimony with your closest loved ones.
5. BEACH & RAINFOREST – CEREMONIES & RECEPTION S
Have your wedding ceremony and dinner on what Forbes considers one of the 12 best beaches in the world! Villa Punto de Vista’s Beach and Rainforest wedding venue can accommodate an unlimited number of guests for your wedding ceremony. Though you can have your reception and dinner here, the other venues are better options. Hear the waves softly crash on the pristine golden sand as you and your soul mate say “I do” while partially surrounded by tropical rainforest and by bay filled with emerald-colored water and dotted with island in the background. Of the beach wedding venues in Costa Rica, this is by far one of the best, if not the best.
WEDDINGS AT VILLA PUNTO DE VISTA – SOME DETAILS
Given its secluded location on a large private estate, you can have a DJ and live music at all of its sites for weddings reception, and there is no curfew in The Ballroom for the music or the festivities. Also, you can get married at Villa Punto de Vista any day of the week or on any holiday – there are no restrictions – and there are no wedding-day cleanup fees.
